Geosynth is led by Dr Anthony Reid, a geoscientist with over 20 years professional experience and with links to academic and geological survey organisations across Australia.
Anthony is currently Head of Geology at Fleet Space Technologies.

Since my PhD studies on the geology of eastern Tibet, I have been fascinated with the way the Earth works. My professional career has been focussed on the geological evolution of southern Australia, and my experience spans across timescales and across mineral deposit styles.

Having completed 18 years at the Geological Survey of South Australia, I have unique knowledge of the geology of South Australia, as well as a deep understanding of the activity and role of government geological survey organisations.

I have a track record of academic publication and technical report writing, which has honed my ability to conceptualise, design, write and deliver geological reports suitable for a variety of audiences.

I started Geosynth as the vehicle for being able to work across terranes and mineralisation styles, and to use my strengths to assist exploration and mining companies, geological surveys and academic organisations to improve their understanding of the geological context for mineral exploration as well as regional geology.

Currently I am Head of Geology at Fleet Space Technologies.
